 The Ardoch Board comprises nine committed professionals with a range of skill sets across a wide range of disciplines and professions.  As volunteers, their commitment extends beyond scheduled board and associated governance committee meeting commitments to regular support through awareness raising of Ardoch’s work, introductions to relevant networks, professional advice and financial and in-kind contributions.

Barry Borzillo

Barry is the CEO/Managing Director and part owner of Intrax Consulting Engineers. He has a broad range of local and international experience in the telecommunications, services and government outsourcing industries. Prior to his appointment at Intrax in 2011, Barry held CEO roles for the ESH Group, Tenix Solutions and Ericsson Australia. He holds a Masters of Business Administration (Executive) from the Australian Graduate School of Management, a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Victoria University and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Barry attended Sunshine Primary School, which has had a strong partnership with Ardoch for nearly a decade.

Marsha Sussman
Deputy Chair

Marsha has more than 25 years of experience in both human resource consulting and management roles at Mercer in Australia and the United States, and at Towers Watson in New York. She currently works within Human Capital International, a small consultancy based in Melbourne, specialising in leadership development and executive coaching. Her expertise extends into organisational change management, and the design, delivery and evaluation of the HR function. She has worked with a wide variety of large and small clients in both the public and private sectors in the US, Europe and Australia.

Joelle Tabone

Joelle is Partner at chartered accounting firm HLB Mann Judd, with 15 years of experience consulting to a wide range of private and family owned organisations on various corporate matters including business and taxation advice, business valuation and enhancement and succession planning. Possessing significant experience across a range of business disciplines, She is known foremost for her expertise in assisting international corporations seeking to establish business operations within Australia.

Brent Tulk
Company Secretary

Brent is a Partner at Mercer and leads the Governance team, specialising in advising financial services organisations on governance, compliance and risk management. Brent joined Mercer in 1997 as an Actuarial Analyst in the Retirement business. Since then Brent has held a number of superannuation consulting roles and has been instrumental in leading the development of Mercer’s governance, risk management and compliance frameworks for clients. His background is as an actuarial consultant and practicing lawyer with a commercial law firm.

Jim Alexiades

Jim is Deputy Principal, Head of Caulfield Campus, Caulfield Grammar School. He is responsible for the day to day running of the campus including management and appointment of staff, the pastoral care of students and responding to parents. Jim has had an extensive involvement in curriculum and educational innovation. He is a Fellow of the Williamson Community Leadership Programme (Leadership Victoria), an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, accredited member of the Australian Council of Educational Administration, and member of the Australian College of Educators and the co-convenor of the Association of Senior Staff in Independent Schools.

Naomi Gorringe

Naomi is an advertising professional who works with her client partners to deliver communications strategies and campaigns. She has worked at leading agencies with high profile brands for the past 17 years. Her experience spans government, commercial and not for profit sectors in Australia and overseas. In 2009 she founded the Perth campus of Sudanese Australian Integrated Learning (SAIL).

Joff Macleod


Joff was the Chair of the Ardoch Youth Foundation from 2010 to 2015 and has been on the Board for in excess of ten years. Joff has over 30 years of experience in Chartered Accounting; including 26 years with MGI Melbourne and its predecessor firms. He recently became Partner in PwC Private Clients, when MGI Melbourne joined PwC. His core skills are in taxation, international taxation, business advisory, corporate advisory and family business.  He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia and sits in an advisory capacity on a number of private company boards, sporting bodies and charitable bodies.

Adam Todhunter

Adam is a high level executive with solid business leadership skills and strong experience in both operational and strategic areas in both the public and private sectors. Most recently, having worked at Dimension Data Australia as their Chief Operating Officer. Adam has held a number of senior executive roles within government, as Deputy Secretary, Market Engagement & Corporate in the Department of Treasury and Finance, Chief Information Officer for Department of Education & Early Childhood Development and Executive Director and CIO at Department of Premier and Cabinet/ Department of Treasury. Adam has an excellent IT background and strong business focus with a track record aligning IT strategy with business objectives. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course and Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.

Andrew Wear

Andrew is a senior public servant with the Victorian Government. He has worked in executive roles at the Department of Premier and Cabinet, Department of Planning and Community Development, and Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources. Most recently, he was responsible for leading the provision of education policy advice to the Victorian Premier. Andrew is a Member of the Institute of Public Administration, a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and in 2015 he completed the Senior Executive Fellows program at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government.
