Choosing to support Ardoch Youth Foundation by setting up a regular donation through your employer’s payroll system provides important, ongoing funding that can be directed to where it is needed most

 Our Programs 2

For Ardoch, your regular donation could give a child breakfast for a month, train a volunteer to work one-to-one with a child at a school or provide a Learning Essentials Bag containing learning resources. The regularity of the donations allows Ardoch to have advance knowledge of income and so provides us with the opportunity to plan for future programs and support activities.

Workplace giving is also a great way for businesses to support their employees and the community. When staff have a common cause, it provides additional opportunities for them to be involved in activities that build teamwork, morale and engagement.

Once workplace giving to Ardoch is set up, there is very little administrative commitment for both employees and businesses, and it is one of the most resource efficient ways of supporting a charity.

How does it work?

For Employees

Nominate an amount of your choice to donate to Ardoch from your pre-tax salary each month.  As the donation is made pre-tax, it actually costs you less than what we receive, and eliminates the need to collect, keep and claim receipts: you get an immediate, guaranteed tax deduction processed through your pay. To get started, ask your HR or payroll staff about the options. If your employer does not have a workplace giving scheme or want to establish one, you can still make tax deductible monthly donations directly to Ardoch by becoming a Ardoch Star.

For Businesses

With senior leadership support and a network of charity champions, workplace giving programs (also known as payroll giving programs) rapidly become a positive employment feature. Many employers also commit to matching employee donations or donating a set amount to employees’ charities of choice. Workplace giving is simple to instigate and low cost for payroll staff to administer. You can find out how to administer the process yourself via the Australian Taxation Office or use a specialist organisation such as Good2Give or Good Company.
