JULY 2018: CEO'S MESSAGE

We are half way through the school year and many of our programs accelerate in the second half of the year, so I’d like to say a very big thank you to those who’ve supported Ardoch in the first six months of the year.

We hope you enjoyed our “I can be” mid-year appeal campaign which highlighted the work that Ardoch does to help inspire children to aspire to whatever they want to do and be. We raised just over $20,000 from individual donors responding to the Appeal and we know at tax time that our supporters may be fielding requests from many worthy organisations so we especially value the faith you place in the work we do.

Without the financial support of our philanthropic, corporate and individual donors we would not have the resources we need to offer our suite of programs to partner schools and without the engagement of our community and workplace volunteers, well we would not be able to deliver the programs that we do – it’s as simple as that.

Our work never slows though and we continue to work to grow our school and early years partnerships so that we can expand the reach of our programs and support more children and young people. I’m proud that in the first six months of the year the Ardoch team has already established partnerships with 16 new school and early years sites, highlighting the need for Ardoch’s programs which support children’s engagement, build their aspirations and enhance their learning outcomes.

For additional ways to show your support for Ardoch’s work and the impact we are having consider encouraging your friends and colleagues to get involved by donating or volunteering, or warm up the winter months by getting involved in one of the physical challenge opportunities we are promoting to help raise money for Ardoch.

Thank you for your support.
