Experiences – Cultural, Social, Wellbeing and STEM

Broadening Horizons experiences give students the opportunity to build their confidence, aspirations and openness to new experiences and learning environments.

Activities in the categories of Culture, Social Wellbeing and STEM experiences enhance the curriculum and support positive learning outcomes.

Ardoch enables students to visit places of cultural and educational significance such as the Melbourne Museum, the Immigration Museum, Arts Centre Melbourne and Scienceworks.

We also partner with a range of other organisations to provide access to programs focused on social wellbeing.

Students engage in STEM enquiry through visits to Scienceworks and animal farms, and science-focused incursions for kindergartens, aimed at sparking engagement and applied learning among students. These programs complement Ardoch’s STEM Support programs such as Numeracy Buddies and Robotics which share a focus on hands-on learning and engaging students’ curiosity.
